My work straddles traditional lines between dance, theater, and video performance to create new possibilities for embodied meaning. Through collisions between mediums I probe shifting sensibilities of identity and choreograph a malleable relationship between witness and performer, often producing multiple iterations of expression around a shared theme. Building up and breaking down performative worlds, I investigate queerness as an experience of loss, nostalgia as a mechanism for mourning, and fantasy as an act of survival.
